              * Sync from debian/trixie.
              * Remaining Apertis specific changes:
              - Add Apertis vendor configuration.
              - Fix error handling with getline:
              The function getline is used to read data from different streams, however,
              the error handling is not accurate. Check both return value and errno
              to handle errors.
