NFS images need to be tweaked to work with LAVA

Background

This is a follow-up task from #884 (closed). In apertis-lava-recipes!56 (merged) we introduce a tweak to allow LAVA to unpack initrd in order to include the required tools.

This task is about to improve the solution and be aligned with upstream.

Reproducibility

How often the issue is hit when repeating the steps to reproduce and changing nothing?
